    "The Cobblestone Houses of Upstate New York", compiled by Dorothy Wells Pease. Research done in collaboration with Hazed B. Jeffery, supplemented with material furnished by Carl F. Schmidt, 1941. Reference the third paragraph on page 36. Dorothy quotes "heresay" of a nearby house "said to be" cobblestone covered with cement. The structure is not of cobblestone construction, but built of quarried stone covered with stucco.
